Tickets
Tickets purchased before the season opener will be mailed by the beginning of September. Gift tickets may be purchased for friends and family for any occasion. Each Town & Gown Mainstage show runs for seven performances. A great value of your season ticket is its flexibility -- see each show once, see one show five times, even loan it to a friend. You decide.
Second Stage
Use your ticket toward the six Mainstage productions, or use a spot for two-for-one admission to Second Stage productions. This season, announced throughout the year, showcases the new, the unique, the avant garde, as well as familiar classics for one weekend only. Watch for posters and program announcements of upcoming titles. Second Stage provides a golden opportunity for area actors, directors, and writers to exercise their talent in this venue with the spotlight on creativity.
General Information
- To make reservations and ensure your seat, all audience members -- including season ticket holders -- must call (706) 208-TOWN (8696). The reservation line will open three weeks prior to each Mainstage production. No reservations are required for Second Stage shows.
- The curtain time is 8:00 pm for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday performances and 2:00 pm for Sunday matinees. Latecomer seating is at the House Manager's discretion. Reservations are released 10 minutes before curtain time!
- Individual ticket prices are as follows. Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons: $18/adult and $15/child, student, members, and seniors; Thursday nights: $5/everyone!
- We are located behind the classic Taylor Grady House off Prince Avenue.

After celebrating our 50th season, The Town & Gown Players are more excited than ever about the opportunity to bring quality community theatre to the Athens area. As we gear up for our next 50 years, we have decided to expand and restructure our annual giving campaign. The book is scheduled to be printed by early December, just in time for Christmas!
