Urinetown: The Musical is a timely skewering of runaway capitalism, reckless populism, and the human tendency toward acts of dangerous irresponsibility. But mostly, it’s about the dangers of staging a show with a terrible title.
George is a man consumed with preserving and documenting the dying languages of far-flung cultures. Closer to home, though, language is failing him. He doesn't know what to say to his wife, Mary, to keep her from leaving him, and he doesn't recognize the deep feelings that his lab assistant, Emma, has for him.
Servant of Two Masters is a wild and silly farce of mistaken identities, long lost lovers, angry fathers, cross dressing badasses, and one very hungry servant. Combining both a classical understanding of the roots of commedia, but with a modern sense of humor, this production has one goal: Make with the funny.
